4 md Potatoes, peeled and cooked
1/2 c Milk
8 Scallions, with 3 inches of green tops
1 To 2 T Butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Mash potatoes. Add milk and whip. Scald scallions in boiling water. Drain and chop. Add to potatoes and season with salt and pepper. Serve hot with butter in center.
